We woke up to a backed up sewer line one morning and needed immediate help. I was referred to American Rooter never having used them before. They were able to schedule a technician visit within 90 minutes of my call and give me their pricing model over the phone. Technician arrived on the dot with a mask as well and explained what he was going to do and that his objective was to get it done within the first hour so I don’t pay for extra hours. He fixed the clog within 45 minutes and explained the problem to me including what I may want to address in the longer term. He kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up anything that leaked in the area. The experience was perfect and exactly what I needed to get on with my work day with minimum disruption. Pricing was very fair and actually less than I expected before calling.
The worst... Their technicians showed up trying to charge me over 1000 for a job that we completed for less than 200... Not only that, I verbally agreed to pay $595 plus tax, but they were not happy, so they told the people in the house that they were coming back within the hour but never did...
They sent Wil over to fix a clog of the main line. Nice guy who was pretty straight forward. A bit expensive because it was the weekend but I get it. Would definitely recommend.
