This place is not only so spotless you could eat off the floor but the food is some of the best iv had in a very long time.

I don't know about this place. Seemed pretty expensive for what you got. I mean we got mozzarella sticks, philly cheese sandwich and a chicken sandwich (wicked rubbery too) and fries. It was over 40 dollars before tip! Ive bever been there before so i have no frame of reference if this price is recent due to pandemic but holy moly thats alot of cashola for meh food and small portions. Im not mad, im just disappointed. Service was decent at least.

Fantastic classic diner that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day long. One of the very best in the area. I have been going to Windmill for years and never ever had a problem getting a table. (No idea what other reviewers are talking about regarding being told it was ‘full’..that has never happened to me in nearly 20 years of being a patron). Food is always fresh, well prepared and served by very courteous and friendly staff. In addition the restaurant is always clean and the furnishings are obviously well cared for (no torn seats, chipped tables, etc).nnThe owner is almost always on premises and takes great pride in giving customers the very best dining experience..and it shows. Overall, it is a great place for couples, families, or even large groups. Honestly, it is one of the best places in New Milford as well as the Greater Danbury area overall.nnDISCLAIMER: I have no association with the Windmill Diner except as a very satisfied customer.
