Die to their unique spinal structure, elephants are not meant to carry heavy loads on their back. They have boney protrusions extending upward from the spine. Both the protrusions and the surrounding tissues get damaged from weight and pressure.nnThe elephants here carry 8-10 kids at a time. This is animal abuse!nnIn addition to that there is 1 elephant left. Elephants are highly social elephants that suffer when kept in solitude. Again, this is terrible abuse.nnDon’t patronize places like this that exploid animals

Why does Minnie the elephant have a GoFundMe for $2 mil stating you need money for food and vet bills? You have clearly stated she is cared for but now she's at risk of starving or not having medical care as a geriatric elephant. This is trash. Do better and ask for help. There is a place willing to take her in Tennessee on 2200 acres that doesn't require business to be open to feed her.

This was just such a sad experience. The elephant, the star attraction, seemed so old and tired. She looked miserable. The other animals looked like they were neglected and stressed out, and the workers were not friendly at all. Even the kids knew something was not right. I don’t recommend this place at all. These animals need a better home.

Animals look unhealthy and not cared for very well. Commerford should consider another trade. I do NOT recommend bringing children to this zoo.

An obvious torture for their animals.nThere is no way there is enough expertise to properly care for the animals.
