I was pulled from school here in 6th grade (though I believe that grade has been moved to the Junior High since.) I had other students and teachers harass me while the guidance counselor and principal took everyone else's side. Most recently, my mom's friend has a daughter who just turned 10 and was in special ed last year. The teacher for special ed literally snaps pencils in students' faces, supposedly to make them pay attention. This shouldn't be done to any kid, let alone kids in a special education class!
