October 2017:nTim Wheeler did an excellent job paving my driveway in Avon.nnOn the plus side:nThe quality was excellent (he took his time making sure the base was absolutely solid and he was generous with the blacktop);nThe price was very competitive;nTim, the owner was on site every day all day;nThis is a small local family business where you get husband, wife and son all working together to satisfy their clients. Each one of them are very nice folks; andnThe job was completed when promised.nnThe only thing I think you could find frustrating is that they can be hard to get a hold of during normal business hours. I chalk this up to the fact that the owners were on the job doing the work. My impression is they keep their overhead very low by spending the bare minimum on the back room staff. However, I assume this is why he is able to beat his competitors price and still do quality work.nnIf you will be triggered by having to chase Tim a bit by playing telephone tag, I suggest you pay the extra few thousand and go with a bigger outfit. But if you are a value buyer like me, and want to support local small business owned by good folks, Wheeler is a real good choice.
