Complete Joke of a department. They had my vehicle towed 45 feet from my house. Literally 3 houses down. Zero compassion for people whatsoever. 3 times already dealing with these low life’s. Very sad to see such a beautiful town garnished with a major disappointment.
Very professional and dedicated men and women at Southington PD. Officers are friendly, caring, and dedicated to the well-being of the community. I appreciate all they do.
Jay Suski at detective division is the example every police should model themselves after. Professionalism and excellence at its best. Hope he takes on the whole department and becomes Chief once current leader retires.
Very disappointed in Southington police department, my driver was involved in a 2 car accident last week that involved with a hit and run where the driver attempted to flee the scene and was not charged. She was unlicensed and uninsured. Very minimal response from officer Locastro and Post. Supervisor Watson offered absolutely no help in resolving besides saying that I can have my guy give a written statement. Nysha Johnson the culprit of the hit and run was only charged with traveling too fast, following too close and failure to carry a license. Sounds like the amount of paperwork involved in documenting the crime out weighed the rule of law in this instance.
