Reviews
My opinions may be a little biased from my personal experiences. This school provides basic education, as any other school would, but they don't have many resources for children which already excel in their classes. There is the gifted program, which you must be a fourth or fifth grader, selected through high test scores and grades, and have been in the school for at least two years. So, if your child(ren) lack any of those three requirements, they lose a little bit of extra knowledge. If you're thinking about children struggling in their classes, I believe that there are plenty of people that can help you. The teachers themselves are ok, if you're concerned about that too. As long as the student doesn't cause much trouble, they will get all the help and attention they need. On the contrary, if you have a trouble maker, the teacher will likely have as much patience as you, they're only human.
My niece goes here teachers are great to the kids and they receive a great education there as well as get any help or tutoring needed
Really bad school they dont care about autistic kids. And the lie in ur face
i go to this school it's a good school but the bathroom and the playground says bad words .In lunch the fifth grade get to partner with the cute kindergardeners. Ive been in thiz schoom for 5 years and i really enjoy it.
GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF NEW BRITAIN FOREVER!nThe whites make it their priority to oppress minorities.nThey don't want to fund New Britain schools.nI've personally seen teachers tell the class they don't need to go to college knowing full well that the future will demand it.nI would see police at this school everyday as if they were expecting a major threat to stop by.nRemember New Britain has the most aggressive DCF in the state, so if your children mention anything negative, expect DCF to extort you.nJust meet them in their office, never your home, never sign anything and never admit to anything.nTrain your kids since now to have cool things to say about you.nTreat them right and teach them much and you'll be alright.nA well fed child is a well behaved child so make sure they're getting oatmeal, stews and organic multivitamin.nNutrition has been proven to improve behavior in children with behavior problems.nPut them in a sport or martial art.nIt'll give them discipline.nMost importantly, be their life coach.nYou make sure to teach them to be relentless and never give up and have tenacity over everything.nGet them encyclopedias either online or book to learn from everyday.nPoint is for them to consume information everyday.nPut them in a reading club or just make sure they read everyday.nPuzzles, checkers, video games help.nAvoid those games like Minecraft or Roadblocks.nThe skill of learning new skills and adaptability will be very important for your child in the future.nTeach them to use their intuition/commonsense, use their senses/awareness and to think on their feet.nPut them in competitive shooting since young.nSet them up to learn Spanish, French, German and Arabic.nThere's plenty of computer programs you can buy for them to learn and practice these languages everyday.nWorst case scenario, take then out of school and put them on an online school.nSeeking a good island to live in, it would benefit your family a ton.nQuality if life over everything.nExpect your kids to be bullied here in New Britain and the teachers not intercede.nNew Britain is garbage to begin with.nThe people here are horrible.nTrust me when I say it's cursed.nI've live here almost 30 years.nPlease burn all bridges to NB and never look back.nI did and I have such peace living in a nice quiet town where people aren't aggressive, agitated, rude or dangerous.nNB is like a little New York and Puerto Rico (the bad part).nHeavily influenced by both.nPuerto Ricans are internationally known for being warm and open but many of them in CT, especially NB, are dangerous.nSeek a safer, more calm town to live in.nBristol is the best alternative to start with.nIt has cheap rent like New Britain but it's safer.nFrom there you can work towards an even better town.nIf you really want to focus on your life and build it, you can't do it from NB.nThere's too much bad energy in NB and expect nonsense to rub off on your child.nThe state hates minorities and could care less about their education, safety, future and families.nLook elsewhere.nBetter yet, leave CT for good.nThis state is sinking and fast.nP.S.-Save, don't spend income tax.nHave contingency plans ready just in case you have to leave the country fast.nNever leave things for last moment.nHave passports, Birth certificates, Social security cards ready with cash in a back pack for you to leave if you have to.nRead the book,nHOW TO BE INVISIBLE,nby JJ Luna.
