Sofia's Restaurant & Pizzeria

We're staying across the street at Comfort Inn and decided we'd eat dinner here last night.nWhat a great idea this turned out to be!!nTaylor was an awesome server and took excellent care of us.nWe shared a bottle of Dreaming Tree Crush, which is a wine we enjoy at home and it was the first time we've seen it offered in a restaurant.nOur bread was warm and cooked perfectly, our salads were crisp and fresh, but our entree's were delicious! Tommy's Veal Francaise was tender and perfect and my Pasta with Meatballs was to die for!nWe ended up having enough leftovers we had a second night of Sofia's delicious food.nWe highly recommend Sofia's if you are ever in the East Windsor area!

I love this place! I’ve been coming back, again and again, for over 30 years. The thing that I’m most impressed by, is that even though times change, and many other businesses in this town have long since come and gone (the cinemas for example) over the span of time that I’ve been coming to Sophia’s, the quality and consistency of the food, remains the same, time after time! I love their lasagna, and if I get it today, I’m confident that it will look and taste the same as it did last week, or two years ago, or even twenty years ago! It’s the same every time! Not many places can keep up on the consistency, of their food. To me, it is not just important, it’s the main reason I keep coming back! Sure, I notice that they have updated the dining rooms a few times over the decades. I also notice that they usually have a friendly hostess, to seat you when you walk in the door. I also notice that their menu prices are reasonable, and that they seem to do a pretty good business whenever I happen to go, which could be lunchtime, an early dinner, or even a late dinner, after coming home from a long day, out-of-town. No matter when I go, I always look forward to the fact, that I’m returning, to get an experience which I’ve repeated there (and savored), literally dozens upon dozens of times before! It’s not just their lasagna that is fantastic, either! I enjoy their pizzas, grinders, and seafood, too! I’ve been to many so called “top notch” seafood restaurants, all over New England, that don’t compare, when it comes to quality and value. I hope that they don’t change anything, when it comes to the food, because the fact that they haven’t yet, in all these years, is THE reason I keep returning!
