Stanley Steemer

My family has used Stanley Steemer for over 50 years. They have always done a great job on our carpets.nnMy reason for only giving 4 stars is this... if you can lift red paint off an Oriental Carpet, (which you did very well) you should be able to take out the yellowing fabric of my two light green loveseats. While the 2 men tried, the after sofas look pretty similar (although smell cleaner) to the before sofas.nnStanley Steemer, you may want to work on your upholstery cleaning formula!

When I called Stanley Steemer yesterday I was happy to find out an appointment was available within 24 hours and was promised a 9-1pm window when technicians would arrive to clean and rejuvenate my lower level tile floor, approximately 1100 square feet. We had just finished repainting the entire lower levelnof our house, and this space would be designated for my son and girlfriend as they attended their virtual college courses from our home this fall.nnNeedless to say, we were looking forward to getting this job done.nnMy initial phone call was courteous and professional, and I felt the pricing was very fair based on the size of the job that had been planned to be done today.nnAround 11:35am, I received a call, and was informed the technicians arrival would be delayed to between 2-3 pm.nnAround 2:15pm, the technicians arrived and they were instructed to enter our house through a separate entrance to our lower level, where the job would take place. This must have irritated the technician, because he looked disgusted as he walked away.nnAs an aside, this accommodation was prearranged with our customer service representative, who was very understanding in light of the pandemic of our requests.nnThe technicians made there way to the lower level of our home, and within 3 minutes, we heard a knock at our door, the technicians looking disgusted and defeated, not only because they were asked to use an outside entrance to our home, but also in my wife’s opinion because the job would require some effort to complete, and the following statements were made to my wife, which she was suppressed to hear.nnMa’am, what are your expectations today? I’ve been doing this job for six years, and I think you’d be wasting my time because this won’t improve the appearance of your floor enough to make it worth your money.”nnThe technicians appeared very young, and it was my wife’s opinion reading between the lines, that the technicians felt the job would take too long, and they were ready to end their workday, to start their time off for the weekend.nnOur collective thoughts were, why would we let them start a job when they said it wouldn’t be a success?nnAside from dust, and a need for a thorough deep clean of tile and grout that Stanley Steemer advertises they can do, this should have fallen within the realm of jobs a company with their supposed reputation could easily perform or do.nnMy advice to Stanley Steemer would be to hire a crew willing to perform the jobs you say you will do, during your advertised hours of operation, and not waste a customers time waiting for you to arrive, only to be told we can’t do the work because our technicians were too lazy to do it on a Saturday afternoon.n# Find better employeesn# don’t overpromise a job when you can’t deliver

Tremendous work. The service man was very curtious, professional, and the rugs look beautiful. His prices were the best around.

The process was very easy. The price was good and the service was excellent. The 2 men were very efficient and professional. The cleaning was done well. I would highly recommend this service. Thanks.

Wow! We have a wool braided rug that needed a good cleaning. Many years of pets and lots of people ! The rug looks brand new! The Stanley Steemer service person was on time and very friendly and professional (and wore a mask) highly recommend.
