I made an appointment via text with Salon Wayne for a Deva cut for Monday, 8/17 at 11AM. I had never been there before.nnSalon Wayne suggested that date and time as I couldn't make some earlier times that they had offered.nnI arrived on that date and time. I parked my car in the lot and texted, but I got no response. I called and I got VM. I stood in front of the salon and I pushed the buttons that were next to Wayne's name that apparently rings in his suite. I got no response.nnI texted again and got no response. So I left.nnWayne texted me later that same night saying he never got my text. And that when he is with a client he doesn't pick up the phone. And that he didn't know what numbers I pressed for his suite but that it wasn't his.

Lisa is my stylist and I can recommend her without any hesitation. She does such a wonderful job of foiling my hair, not to mention how well she cuts it. The rest of their staff is professional as well, the stations are kept clean, bathroom is tidy and they offer tea or water. Only way for improvement is if they served wine haha ;) Seriously, book your appointment with complete confidence.

I have had DEVA cuts as well as color done in this salon many times. I am always happy with my services, the stylists are friendly and knowledgeable. The owners, Wayne and his lovely wife Lisa, are upbeat and professional. I will gladly recommend Salon Wayne to anyone who values quality hair care.

So I went into this salon with the mindset that I wasn't going to be paying anything for my haircut because I had been growing it for over 2 years so I could donate it to Locks of Love. So I walk in, the stylist looks at my hair and tells me I can't donate it because I had color in it. I was extremely disappointed but proceeded with the haircut anyway. I felt a LOT of pressure from not just one, but two different people to color my hair too. I was already paying $80 that I didn't want to for a haircut and had to explain over and over again that I didn't want to color my hair anymore. I could have gone up the street to Supercuts and paid 1/4 of the money for the same haircut I got. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't good either. The icing on the cake? I called Locks of Love the next day and was told that I COULD have donated my hair. They only reject hair that has been bleached, not colored. My first and last time in this place...It still hurts now that I could have helped someone with cancer and because they don't know what they're talking about, wasted 2 years of growing it out.

I choose Salon Wayne for hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. Although I really liked the services I got the day of my wedding, the hair and makeup trial was a waste of money. The person who did my makeup at the trial was not the same person who did my day of makeup. The person who did my hair didn't seem to remember anything about my trial, even though she took pictures. Although pleased with the results, I ended up with a totally different hairstyle and a bit more stress than I intended. What was the point of spending all that money if nothing I did at the trial related to my actual wedding day services?
