I will never count on Ansonia PD to do the right thing. They can't even get the person callings story before addressing the complainant. 3 times I call for disturbance upstairs and 3 times they went upstairs 1st. Let's get the criminals story before the victim that called. That's real fair. 1 officer had no training in patience and frustrated, he just walked away. Nice job...NOT!!!!! Way to help those who pay your salaries... The officers that I've come into contact with in Ansonia have been professional, respectful, and they genuinely care about the community. Thank you for serving, and protecting. You're greatly appreciated.

Cons----I truly feel like Ansonia is over policed. It gives them too much time to pull people over for some of the most minute things. Pros---- However, when I do get stopped the officers are always very respectful and understanding. That is why I gave them 4 stars. Surrounding towns could learn a lot from the Ansonia PD. police are real nice. They were very nice when I lost my wallet and they had it back in under 30mins. Very nice officers.
