I brought a gown in several weeks ago to have two parts altered, addition of a cap sleeve and enhancement of the bust. I was very clear about what I needed done and that I do not have many days off from work between that time and the occasion. The tailor told me he would do the small cap sleeves first and when I came back to pick up the dress the bust enhancement would be addressed. I called today and explained it again and was told the tailor will be in after 2:30. I arrived at 2:30 and the initial tailor told me I would have to go to the Westport location to have the bust enhanced because he doesn’t do that kind of work!! Also I would have to go on another day because the Westport tailor is off!! I had to call another tailor right there from the shop who could get this done in time for my nephew’s wedding. When I examined the gown at the new tailor I found that the original tailor had jammed material from the gown in the zipper, I will now have to pay for that to be repaired. Unbelievable!!
Going here for 5 months and so far so good
I’ve been coming here for years my only complaint is that from time to time things aren’t done properly. My blazer got lost last time I went but they were good about finding it and having it ready for me. Overall an okay place.
Pricey and service has noticably dropped in recent years
Didn't have a problem for over 2 years. Then all of a sudden my husbands 3 fairly new shirts started ripping in the last 2 weeks. Overall in the last month 5 shirts got destroyed. have asked whether they stared using new chemicals. Of course they said they were innocent and the shirts are old. Well... no reimbursement- no apology- I'll no recommend going there.
