Queen Street Cleaners destroyed my wife's jacket.nnAnother garment in the dry cleaning load leaked ink onto her jacket.nQueen Street Cleaners called to ask how much the jacket was worth. My wife said $100. They said the owner will be in touch.nnA week later I spoke with the owner. He was all about being “Fair and equitable.” As the call continued his fair and equitable voice got louder and angrier.nnThe owner offered 75 for the jacket. He said he looked the jacket up and couldn't find anything like it to compare the value. He had time to look up the value of the jacket but didn’t have time to call me. It was up to me to pursue the matter.nnI turned down the 75 and won’t be visiting Queen Street Cleaners in Newtown CT again.nnAfter going to Queen Street Cleaners for years I expected more. I thought they would take care of a regular customer without hesitation. They lost a regular customer over 25 dollars?nnI won’t be returning to Queen Street Cleaners.

Wonderful people work here, Donna is one that stands out. Yep...she is a keeper... always friendly. And they offer alterations to boot!

I have only been using this cleaner for the last few months, but I have had only extremely positive experiences. The two women who seem to be there all the time, are friendly, efficient, and professional. I called around town pricing services, and the Queen Street had the best deal. I couldn't be happier with their work.nnUPDATE: I've been going here for over 2 years now and I still stands my original review.
