M&B Cleaning

My daughter found this company during a google search so I gave them a call. We had called other people/companies and had one other person we were getting an actual bid from. We needed someone for a move out clean. She was going to do the entire house, basement and pool bathroom included, for $350. When I initially talked to Brandon he was very helpful with our situation. I told him we had 4500 square feet and he gave me a quote of $370 plus tax, so over $400. My husband overheard my conversation and said, no honey, I don’t think our square footage is that high. I quickly looked up our home and found out it was 3779 sq feet. Brandon told me that he was charging me for the square footage, so he brought it down to $340 plus tax, which brought it to $361. Still slightly more than the other woman but I felt comfortable and M & B cleaning had good reviews. The reason I gave them more than one star is because, according to our realtor, what they did clean was done very well. The problem is what they didn’t clean. The garage bathroom was my own fault, I didn’t think to mention it. But on our phone call after the cleaning Brandon was a different person. Now that he already had his payment the friendliness was gone. It was MY fault for not mentioning that we had a basement. Really?? If you clean in Connecticut you know that almost everyone has a basement. Ours is fully finished so to me it is part of my home. He concludes our conversation by offering to give me a “deal” and come clean it for $70 more dollars and then tells me that my house was very messy and he could have and should have charged me more. That was a flat out lie. Something out of a mouth of a toddler. Because of my understanding from the owner of the company that I was being charged by the square foot I thought he would be happy to refund me for the uncleared square footage! Ha, that was a joke. I would firmly tell anyone I knew to look elsewhere for help. All this situation needed was a quick trip back out, 20 minutes in my basement and I would have raved about my service. :(

This is the only cleaning service that I will use! They work efficiently, and make the whole house spotless in record time. Not to mention the professionalism. They are by far the best !
