Greenwich Police Department

It's the best police department! Everyone is nice and helpful. Glad to have them working on my behalf. Lord may you protect them and give them wisdom when they are confronted with a hard situation. Lord, let your angels cover them under their wings!nTo all officers, I thank you for all you do. May God grant you all the desires of your heart!

I was issued a parking ticket on a day that I paid for a full day in a local, municipal lot. I even left the my paid receipt for the day in my back windshield in plain view - I still got ticketed and had to pay because I cannot reach a human being on the phone. This is truly absurd and frustrating. I am from out of state and feel constantly targeted by the Greenwich eeenie-meenie-miny-mo system of parking and ticketing.nPeople or local businesses should be provided with parking passes or discounted rates for daily parking. We contribute to the town, socially and financially, and should not be bullied.

The people writing negative reviews because of Eugenia Cooney are morons. It is ILLEGAL to force someone to get treatment against their will. Doing a welfare check will do nothing but waste the police's time. They can't force her to do anything and neither can any of you. Stop. 5 stars to hopefully offset some of the completely pointless negative reviews. People need to learn to educate themselves before spouting BS they know nothing about. They don't realize that even if she recovers, she will be in excruciating pain for the rest of her life because her body is already irreversably damaged. Trying to eat and recover would probably do more harm than good at this point. Just leave the poor girl alone.nnEdit: Even if the police DO carry out a welfare check, none of you have the right to know anything about her physical health. The police LITERALLY can't tell you whether or not she's okay, just like if someone is in the hospital that you're not directly related to and you call and ask if they're okay, the nurses can't tell you anything about their condition. That is her private information and it would be a violation of her rights if the police announced her physical condition to the internet. This is just common sense, people. I guess common sense ain't so common these days.

The GPD was always wonderful - officers indeed quite handsome and very, very friendly!! My son attended the Police Explorers program with Office Huestis and I am so sad he did not go on to join the force! They were a blessing to my family and myself during times of trouble back in 2011-2012. Thank you GPD!!
