Nice parking lot and some good signage. Some trails are wide and nicely marked, but those in the northwest corner are a bit overgrown and we hit several dead ends or had to bushwhack. We couldn’t find the turtle pond and the gazebo didn’t look safe to enter. We heard lots of birds and encountered plenty of bees on wildflowers in the overgrown parts. Seems like it could use a bit more trail maintenance. We saw a frog, which was cool.
Beautifully natural, felt like exploring a wild place with just the right amount of guidance. Would love to check in each season to see how it changes.
