Nordic Fish – Seafood and Fresh Fish Market in Fairfield, CT

Amaaaaazing poke bowls! As a sushi lover this is my new go to place. The lobster rolls are the best in the tri-state area. Definitely worth the 45 min drive from White Plains!

Complete offerings of fresh fish and seafood. Excellent, friendly service. Fresh sushi made to order, great variety of fresh fish, shellfish and big tanks of live lobsters. Plus, poke bowls and fish n' chips.

My exprience to say the least was horrible, the staff was rude and not friendly. Stay away from this store! The qauility of food is not worth the trip or money. Please do not give them your hard earned money, they will not appriciate it and to top it off the food is mediocre. This 1 Star review is generous... STAY AWAY.

This place was awesome! Service was great!!!!! Stopped on our way back to Pittsburgh and the guys even packed us up a cooler for all the lobster!!!!! Thank you so much!

I'm a pescatarian and have been for decades. All a new seafood store has to do to get funded is to tell their bank that I'll be a regular and, voila!, they're in business. (I normally spend about $100 a week on fish.) So, first, the good things about NF: it's nice to have a good seafood place in town. Swanson's closed (good riddance), Whole Foods has mediocre--at best--seafood, and Fjord down the road--while excellent--has sky high prices. Second, the staff at NF are very nice, parking along the Post Road is usually accessible, and Fairfield Center is a pleasant place to window shop. The bad: their prices have gone through the roof and now are almost equal to Fjords. When they first opened I was pleasantly surprised to find such good fish at reasonable cost. No more. I can only guess that success, while well deserved, has gone to their heads. I found a wonderful place about ten miles from town whose fish is just as good, if not better, and whose prices are about a third less. I'll withhold the name so as not to ruin a good thing. However, if you want to find it, just do some searches on google. Caveat emptor.
