Interstate + Lakeland Lumber

The fellas at Interstate did an amazing job. Got me the wood I needed and at a fair price. I highly recommend them!

In short: Good products, lacking service. I tried to order an entry door and a door lock. I felt I was irritating the salesperson (maybe I was). He never got back to me on lock prices or changes to door quote. After weeks of trying (through phone, email, and in person), I just gave up and went to Rings End in Darien, where I placed my order in less than an hour, and got my door and lock in under a week. I thought maybe it’s because I’m a homeowner, but my contractor tells me he’s had the same experience with Interstate. For what it’s worth. I opted for a 2-star review (vs. 1 star) because I wasn’t ill-treated per se or scammed, but I won’t come back.

Good experience.
