Amazing history of the local slate mining industry & the Welsh immigrants who helped mine it. This little jewel was a surprise situated in a valley among the ridges in the Delta-Cardiff area . LOVED IT !
A unique small town museum highlighting the interesting history of the area. Lots of cool finds, personal attention and education from the staff, very friendly! Microslides, artifacts, the slate clock (very cool!) and overall lots to check out. Did I mention in its a neat old bank building! Be sure to donate!! No admission fee
A great place to learn about the local history of the Delta/Cardiff area and the slate industry. The slate clock is found in the museum and there is always something new on display.
