Guided tour. Look into history along route 30.
The Compass Inn Museum was a nice place to visit. It has a small gift shop with a nice variety of items to purchase. The price was a little steep but the information they give you on a tablet as you are walking around through the multiple buildings is absolutely mind blowing. It definitely gives you a great perspective on how things were in the early 1800's.
I almost missed this place. I was admiring the building and realized at the last second that it was a museum. Very interesting place. Our guide Amanda showed us around and explained the history. Great stop for a history buff or kids wanting to learn history.
Awesome old stage coach stop. Cant wait to go back for a candlelit tour. They have several events throughout the year including getting to eat some food from the cook house which my son loved.
