What a wonderful place to visit! If you want to learn more about the beginnings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, this is a great place to do it. The museum is very interactive and the nearby river is very peaceful. All attractions are completely free!

Beautifully kept area, and a great place to stop and see some pieces of history.

The place is beautiful with tons of sites to see! They got the house where Joseph and Emma Smith lived together with a few other buildings. There is also a visitors center which is currently closed, and the same river where Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowldry was baptized and received the priesthood.

Beautiful grounds no tours because of the pandemic

It is a view into the history of a time and events which are worthy of remembering. The facilities are beautiful. The staff are capable of helping the visitors understand the site's significance.
