It looked very cool but unfortunately was closed due to COVID! Hopefully will find time to come back and check it out when it reopens!
Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to view all the outside buildings. Also I think if you went during a busier season or if event was going on, the experience would be even better. However, the museum was neat & worthy of a visit. Had a discount for admission fee & was happy to pay that amount. I don't think I would've pay full price.
The building was closed due to Covid.
Great place to visit. Clean and inviting site.H 2019 Mountain Craft Days food vendors ran out of popular foods by 1:30 or 2:30pm on Saturday. ???? If you plan on eating, get there early, or settle for popcorn and funnel cake. Or go Friday.
We just happened upon this, following a sign for the way to the covered bridge. It was a wonderful surprise to see the other memorials and artifacts at that park..a tank, air Force plane.....
