I went here once or twice to get a few things dry cleaned and altered. I was happy with the alterations but was upset when I got my $400 silk skirt back and it had holes in it because they decided to use a safety pin! Goodness, you can easily avoid that by using paper clips, or even magnets and taking them off before giving them to the customer. I’m not paying to get holes on my skirt. I wish they offered other services like taking care of fur items, but after putting holes on my silk, not sure if I trust taking an even more precious item there.

I got recommended this place from the BYUI Costume shop, so I decided to check out the Google reviews which range from good to awful. Unfortunately the experience I had was not a good one at all. I asked them to make simple alterations on four bridesmaids dresses. When I told the girl what I wanted, she wrote down a note and never asked any clarifying questions but just gave me a ticket and said they'd call back in a week. Eight days later I go in to pick up the dresses only to discover that they had done all the dresses wrong. When we told them that, they were really rude about it and frankly very unprofessional. This was my first time getting a dress altered anywhere before, so naturally I wouldn't know basic things like if I want an alteration just past the knees I would need to have it marked off and measured. Something that I was scolded for not doing, but could have easily been settled beforehand if the girl had just payed attention and asked more questions. It could have been avoided if the girl had even just repeated back what I said. They tried offering to fix it, but with my wedding a week away, I don't feel comfortable cutting it that close. Their incorrect alterations they did do are very nice and clearly professionally done, but I will never return nor ever recommend them to anyone else because of their belittlement and terrible customer service.nn***UPDATE in response to owner***nnSetting aside the fact that I also previously mentioned the wedding was only a week away, what makes you think I would trust you guys to fix the mistakes that you made but blamed me for? Did you see that on the video too? How the older lady came from the back to scold my fiancé and I along with the girl up front for not knowing how alterations worked after we came back to tell them they messed up the dresses? This being my first time getting something altered, I had absolutely no idea what exactly it would entail and again, if you would have listened, it all could have been avoided. I'm not so mad that you messed up the dresses, I'm more just disappointed in how your business treated me. Next time there's a big event in my life where I need alterations, I will not be returning. Rather, I'll go to one of the four other places in Rexburg that have 4.7 star ratings and up on Google. Thank you for your consideration, but if you're going to apologise I'd like to get at least a partial refund.

I got my husband's suit dry cleaned there and everything went smoothly. It's a clean suit and was ready on time. I'm pleased! Thanks D&L Cleaners.

I was a customer for years. Recently was overbilled for a simple alteration. When confronted, not the least bit contrite. Fortunately, there are alternatives. Will never return.

I can't believe they wanted to charge $20 to clean one regular sized sleeping bag.
