I took in a vintage sweater, was told it would be done in 4 days. I went to pick it up on that day and it was not ready, which was fine but they did not call me and they said they needed a few more days. They called a few days later to say they were having trouble getting a stain out of the sweater and would need it for a few more days. I told them that would be fine and they was said they would call when it was finished. A month later I finally called after never hearing from them to ask if my sweater was ready and it was. I picked it up and not only is the stain not gone but the portion of the sweater that was colored is now almost white. It's like they just soaked the whole thing and bleach and still didn't manage to get out the stain but essentially ruined the sweater. I would recommend no one use their services because of poor communication and a bad product, that product being their only service: dry cleaning and laundry.
I recently came to Western Laundry to clean an object that they were not acquainted with (a Japanese Futon). They kept open communication and started with a test run to see if they could clean it and gave alternatives if they were not able to. They took very good care of it and followed the research recommendations on how they clean them in Japan. Overall I absolutely loved my experience with them and will continue to go to them in the future for any of my cleaning needs!
