We love this place! Takeout food usually is a step down from the dine-in experience. But we just ordered takeout from Forno Antico for the first time and it was terrific. Our veal parmigiana, side of spaghetti, and a side salad tasted terrific from the comfort of our own dining room. Their marinara is fabulous, and the pasta tastes homemade; it very well may be homemade, not sure. We can't wait to return to dine-in eating, and Forno Antico is one of the places we will return to straightaway. In the meantime, their takeout will certainly do. The only down side I'd say is that it is not fully credit card friendly. Seems like you can pay the bill on CC but cannot leave a tip on the card. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of since people are carrying less cash during the pandemic.
Delicious Neapolitan wood burning pizza! The dome oven cooks the pizza all the way through with charcoal crust. While the dollops of cheese were evenly spread throughout the pizza and almost enough to catch a slither in every bite, a few more globs around the edges would have been nice and done the trick. The sweet sauce and basil pair well with the cheese. The pizza is light and thin.nnThe Large 14 inch is family-size and more than enough for a few people to share while the Medium is great for just my hubby and I. We had plenty of leftover slices with 2 large pizzas for the 4 of us.nnThe entrance is in the rear and a bit confusing with a small sign off on the side. While the patio is in the front near the road, there's no entrance. You must enter in the back.nnGlad to support this family-owned business and excited to come back when I'm in town visiting my parents!
I celebrated my graduation this evening in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a great evening and the restaurant was unquestionably the reason for that successful gathering. The stuff collaborated in a gorgeous manner, the cuisine was great and my guests were very delighted. We shall no dout return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
The best Naples-style pizza in the entire Philadelphia area. Ciro is a master Italian chef. There is something on his menu for anyone to enjoy!
The food and experience was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and recommended fantastic dishes.
