Nevada Northern Railway Museum

Was there for just today with my Dad and it was our very first time there. We really enjoyed walking around taking a lot of pictures, looking inside the engine house, the shops and the yards as well which I really appreciate them letting us do that. A really neat Railroad Museum and I hope we come back to ride and photograph the steam locomotives.

This is a really neat working museum. Anyone interested in history, trains, and older technologies will enjoy this museum. We were lucky enough to be there while they had 3 steam engines fired up for the first time in many years. My family was also able to take a spooky ghost tour at night which my kids loved. It was spooky but not too scary for little kids. Keep your eyes out for Dirt the cat and be sure to say hello if you see him!

Its okay. If you go here, just make sure there is a train ride available because you can see everything else really quick.

The moment when you walk into that workshop and see the steam train they're rebuilding, and smell the oil and the grease, you'll be glad you came. Each train on display has a fascinating back story. Just don't pet the cat.

Took my girlfriend on the Saturday night Sunsets, Stars and Champagne train ride and was not disappointed. An incredible experience everyone should try at least once. Will definitely be coming back to ride again, hopefully with the kids next summer!
