Had fun exploring this place!
A gem of the Nevada bluffs. The site has a fantastic collection of historical artifacts and literature that paint an exciting picture of the trail of the 49ers. The proprietor was very eager to give my group a tour, and she was a wealth of information. If you're coming through, give this a visit!
Surprisingly nice little interpretive center with loads of information and knowledgeable docents! Well worth the stop!
Best place in town to know about the historical roots of the community.
A simple, small museum. It's free and the folks are friendly. There aren't very many displays, but if you read everything (some of the anecdotes are fun) you might spend as much as 30 minutes here.
