Super place. So much history

There are some exciting bits of war memorabilia here. I wish I'd planned to spend the entire day here.

The planes and artifacts and vehicles and weapons they have here from WW1 through the entirety of the Cold War is fascinating and you can be here with complete interest for hours.nnEvery so often they have airshows where they bring in planes or use their own planes for showing to people so you can go inside and then they take off and fly over the museum from the nearby municipal airport.nnThey also host events where they bring in veterans to tell their wartime stories throughout the various wars. Going here is an educational, important and plain fun trip.

Amazing place! We really underestimated what we thought we would see. Almost speechless. We planned to spend about an hour and 3 hours later we realized we needed to wrap it up. Would definitely go back! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our guide was on a Huey crew in Vietnam in '65.

What a fabulous museum!!! The families who contributed to it are incredible and I wish I could thank them all. I wish we had more time to spend to learn about each Veteran and about all the museum offered. This is well worth visiting and coming back to if you have the opportunity. Thank you all for a wonderful presentation.
