We got a tour by Harvey, a retired Navy nuclear Navy Submariner. He was a great guy to listen to. So much detail, had I not watched Hunt for the Red October so many times, it would have sounded Greek. Highly recommend anyone passing by stop in for a briefing.nnHe was also a past member of the Search & Rescue for the county. He warned us that Craters of the Moon national Park has voids up to 2,000 feet deep with a thin crust over the hole. STAY ON THE PATH!

If you like nuclear history this is the place. There are two volunteer retirees that run this place. I met the one from Pennsylvania. He was amazing. Full of knowledge and great stories. Ask about the US Russia submarine cat and mouse games ud83dude09
Great little museum with lots of artifacts and memorabilia from atomic submarines and reactor history. Our docent was fun to talk to and was extremely knowledgeable about the topics coming from his decades of experience working with these subs and reactors.
