The Vista Apartments have great access to Boise State University as well as downtown. Amazing and affordable for college students and the nicest office employees. I love it here!

If you have low standards, this is the place for you. You pay for security, amenities, services, etc. but receive none of them more than half the time. The office staff keep limited hours, do not appear in the office when they say they will, and are unhelpful even in the best of times. You will get a different answer to your question depending on who you ask, there is no consistency with information or services provided whatsoever. You will not get your mail or packages in a timely manner, which is inconvenient when you are waiting on textbooks for classes. Security is lackluster at best, the gate to the parking garage is never locked and the security guard is unhelpful. Due to inconsistent, unreliable, and absent communication from the staff, many people's cars have been towed without notice, a warning, or any form of communication whatsoever, EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR PARKING.nDamages done to public spaces are left completely unattended for months on end and the space is disgusting and uncleanly. Maintenance staff come when it is convenient for them, they have no sense of urgency for the situation. We have experienced numerous occasions, including but not limited to, going a week without hot water. Our water heater has been broken for 6 months now and the staff has done nothing but ignore our maintenance requests. We have had either freezing cold water or scalding hot water for as long as the water heater has been broken.nYou are financially responsible for the damages and uncleanliness of your roommates. They will charge you for things that are not your responsibility, like messes previous tenants have left and damages done to your room that are not your fault.nIf you have an emergency situation, the office will ignore you for months, no matter what the situation is.nThey will not hold tenants accountable for things outlined in the contract, including loud animals, substance abuse, damage to property (including your own), noise levels, and issues with long-term stays of guests who are not on the lease.nnAll in all, this may be the most inexpensive option in the area, but you pay so much more emotionally and financially in ways you don't expect. You end up paying for more things that are not outlined in your lease. They treat your personal property like dirt and expect you to pay the consequences for it. Save yourself the time and stress; opt for a place that may be a little more expensive in rent, but will value you more as a tenant, and will save you money in the long run.

It's nice please to live. I moved here for security cuz it looked more locked down, but it's not. Fake the time the doors aren't even locked. I do love the location. Right next to the river without having to pay it the rear.

I feel safe here and as a single woman that doesn’t know anyone that is very important to me.

When it comes to living its an amazing place. Close to the heart of downtown, lots near by to do. The only thing they need to work on seriously is the office. No one ever answes the phone. When you go to get a package at the listed times someone's always gone. Whenever I call to get answers I don't ever get the phone answered. I have to walk down only to find they are gone. I would really appreciate if they had a designated staff that was on call. I get that there is a pandemic but still communication is key. When you are able to reach a staff member they are the sweetest ppl on the planet ☺ufe0f. I would still recommend living here.
