My son and I visited after doing some reading at home about King Tut. We were so lucky to get to be there alone with a volunteer named Jen. I can't say enough nice things about her! Jen knew something about every single piece in the collection. I was amazed because my young son was so into it! He asked questions for an hour and 15 minutes and Jen was there the whole time answering all of them! Thank you so much!
This place is by far the best place you can go to have fun in the treasure valley. Not only are there tons of activities for children and adults but there's so many things to take up time and to enjoy. If you're ready for a super fun time and to learn some super cool things and to talk to some people who are very passionate about what they do, go check this place out!
We took one of my students on Sunday and all 3 of us had SO much fun! The quality of the items are incredible and the colors so vivid! Even the music helped with the ambiance. My student had more fun documenting things with my phone than I did and wants to go back!nnLol...the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish there had been MORE! All in all, I know my student had a blast and went home with some memories and memorabilia that will likely last a lifetime--nicely done!
The discovery center of Idaho is definitely a must see for anybody in the Boise area or may be visiting Idaho from somewhere else. This place was beyond my expectations they have a bout This place was beyond my expectations they have a bout everything science related to discover and check out here. Heck, I had more fun at this museum than the science Museum back in my hometown of Houston. Idaho is not as boring as what people like to say.nnOf course I went here in 2014 so things are probably a little different than back then, yes, it is fun for adults and the kiddos, I will try to stop here if I get a chance to be in the area in the future.
