This is a great museum that teaches science in interesting and fun ways. It has neat exhibits and specimens, fossils, etc. of a variety of animals. The bird exhibits are especially good. The play areas are really good for kids and are interactive. The volunteers and staff are very helpful also. If I lived in this area I would havena membership !
Very cool exhibits, definitely worth checking out! I checked this place out as a potential volunteer. Although they were not currently scheduling volunteers due to COVID-19, they were extremely gracious and accommodating, offering me a tour of the museum.
We had a great time. Our 4 and 5 year old girls loved all the hands on activities! The planetarium was cool!
Great museum. It has a good learning-based for those lovely children.
My husband and I took our two children, ages 5 and 2.5, here today. We really enjoyed it! It was a fun way to spend to spend two hours! The main level was great for toddlers/school-aged children with many hands on exhibits. My children loved being able to interact with the reptiles in the animal room. My husband and I enjoyed the lower level with the rock collections and taxidermy animals. Definitely would recommend for families with little ones for a fun day out!
