My family loved hiking with friends. We chose to take the 1.4 mile hike. It seemed longer than expected, but it was manageable for ages 6-44. Even a 10 yr old child with Down Syndrome could do it with breaks. Up and down mountains and in and out woods.nnThe visitor center is still closed and there are no available bathrooms, which did concern us.nnBut, we enjoyed a picnic at the benches near the visitor center and plan to go again soon.
Good selection of trails that are well maintained. Joins up with the horseshoe trail for a longer hike.
Great informative facility.
The snow geese are amazing.
Such a cool place to visit.
