Beautiful gardens that you can visit even when the museum is closed. But do come back when the museum is open, it's fascinating.
Beautiful historic site. The house is not open after Labor Day.
Small place but great volunteers with lots of info!
We really enjoyed our visit. The site is very well-maintained and has some beautiful scenery in the area. There are lots of informative exhibits in the house and if you didn’t know much before your visit, it’ll tell you everything you want to know.
My wife and I stopped in the late summer of 2017. The museum/home was closed when we arrived. As luck would have it we run into the curator who was just about to leave. I can't recall his name, but he was kind enough to give us both a personal tour. He was extremely knowledgeable. It was a learning experience we won't forget. Thank you kind sir.
