Although we have lived in Winnemucca for years, we were beginning to find our "country home" unwelcome. Our kids were in sporting activities and between juggling life, school, sports and work we just weren't happy anymore. The task seemed quite daunting to move. I went into the Remax Great Basin office and sat down with Mike Andrews to explore our options. He was extremely helpful in explaining our avenues and even discussing price points with the sale of our home. I found his honesty and knowledge quite refreshing. Within a week, we had put our "country home" on the market and were receiving walk-thrus of the property. We accepted an offer within the first month of our home being on the market and we set forward to find a lovely home in town. Mike showed us house upon house. I was certain he would get fed up with us being so picky, but he always had a smile on his face. Each time we would go to a new property, Mike would have all the facts on the property--which I found extremely helpful because as we were walking around, he could easily answer our questions. And then it happened. We found THE house. The perfect house. In the perfect neighborhood. And then we found out it was sale pending. Ugh! Come to find out, the offer originally on the house fell through, and the instant it was put on the market, Mike called to let us know it was available again. During the transactions of our country home selling and our new house in town being purchased, there were several people involved and not everything ran smoothly. Mike was diligent in keeping everyone informed about the happenings and keeping on top of deadlines. We ended up closing on the sale and purchase on the same day making it a smooth transition. We are so happy to be living in town now and are forever grateful to Mike and his team of professionals for always going the extra mile to ensure our happiness and understanding. Thanks Mike!
