Heroes Academy: An Acton Academy

We absolutely love Heroes Academy and it’s values. Our 10 year old daughter has been on her Heroes journey for just over two years now and it’s beyond thrilling to watch her growth from shy and reserved in group settings to speaking her mind with confidence. I am floored with her public speaking skills, as well as holding other Heroes accountable (being an easy going, only child that was homeschooled, no less, conflict resolution with peers was a hard one to emulate and I’m so grateful for the safe and effective protocol Heroes provides for such matters). We also love what a sweet little community it has become.nWe have adopted many values from Heroes in our own home structure and I love hearing from friends the changes they see in her! She is learning valuable life skills far beyond academics. Jake and Megan are absolutely wonderful with the Heroes-patient and kind. I would absolutely recommend Heroes Academy, and do, to those who are looking for something different.

Heroes Academy is the best decision we could have made in support of our son's education. He is a gifted kiddo who experienced a lot of anxiety in a traditional school setting. At Heroes academy he looked forward to every single day. He really embraced a role as leader.nnIt was so fun to watch his confidence grow. I enjoyed hearing him talk about how he managed conflict, his openness to the growth feedback inspired, and how he celebrated when his classmates persevered through difficult tasks.nnHeroes is a really unique and special place. There are no overstressed teachers consumed in classroom management. The children manage themselves by holding each other accountable. It is remarkable to see the growth, drive and determination that these heroes are capable of when we as parents get out of their way.nnWe have so much love for Jake and Heroes Academy. This experience has already had a huge impact on the character of the man our son is becoming .

I just adore this school and I am so glad my kids have been able to attend. This year my son is thriving. I never thought it would happen after trying public school. He is growing and learning so much. He isn't bothered with the mundane and futile lessons pushed on so many kids. He is learning real life skills like leadership, conflict resolution, persistence, the importance and reward of challenges....in addition to math, reading and writing. We couldn't recommend Heroes Academy: An Acton Academy more. The leadership, team, and most importantly, the education is unlike anything you've experienced before. If you want an education for your kids that will prepare them for future, look no further!

I was so impressed with this school. My son Tyler was able to grow so much in just one year. The atmosphere was so good for him and all students to set their own pace and achieve goals. Tyler was able to get through both 5th and 6th grades in just one year.nnI would definitely recommend this academy to anyone interested in seeing their child develop and grow in a fabulous environment.nnJeffrey Kirsch
