Garden City Police Department

I can't file report anonymously..known drugs and gun and felon but can't file report online..

I grew up in Garden City. My grandparents owned some land there. My big brother was always in trouble with the law so i got to meet quite a few of the officers. There was some good and some horrible police there. There was one time that ill remember forever. I was a kid and so was my brother and the cops had him down and in cuffs then a officer by the name of Officer Dewey started kicking my bro in the head and my dad was going to step in to stop it and the other officers blocked my dad from doing so. I hope he is no longer on the force. There was other officers that were very kind and helpful. My only other negative issue was being stopped by a female officer that was trying to fill her quota and ticketed me for not stopping at a stop sign that i stopped at. I will never live there again because just in case officer Dewey still works there.

So far they have done nothing to help me correct a very inaccurate police report they had wrotten up. I called the detective and his boss over 25 times and have gotten no response, no call back. Worst detective work ive ever seen.

Being threatened and needed help and they instructed me to pack an emergency bag and go hide at the homeless shelter

Every officer I've met have been amazing. Thank you for all you guys do!
