Awesome place, rather Haunted.nLots of memories in the artifacts there.nCan't wait to go back!
On a recent visit to the the greene county historical society , we entered the house and were directed via a sign to start our tour in the gift shop.nThere was no sign reminding visitors to wear a mask.nWhen we walked to the gift shop room , there were 3 employees sitting and standing around a desk.nLaughing and talking loudly and not wearing masks.nWe turned around to leave immediately.nAs we were exiting the front door ,we noticed the youngest employee had followed us asking how she could help us.nAt this point she had decided to put on a mask , but not before.nSo disgusting and disappointing that a facility who represents a Pennsylvania county , isnt following the simple mandate.nI imagine they get some federal funding and dont deserve it if they can't do something as simple as keeping the public safe !nIf you care about science and safety , don't waste your gas or time with this place.
A great museum Greene County very nice people very good information about the sites check it out if you're over there you will enjoy it but I think they're closed for the fall and winter call for more informationud83dude0a
Lots of historical items and artifacts to observe and informative, plenty of time to enjoy everything.
