John Brown rented the house prior to the Harper's Ferry raid. Historical site.
I was fortunate to get there in time to take the tour and the guide offer a tour of the old jail too. Interesting places. I wish I had more time to check out the rest of what this town offered. If you enjoy unique historic sites it's worth checking out

Tour was very enjoyable. Tour guides are volunteers and are able to answer questions about the house / jail and Chambursburg. Very interesting and enjoyable.
