Cashier had no idea of the inner workings of the business

Been a ACE Hardware customer for most of my life and been going to the Eagle location for at least 6 years. While its not the cheapest or best value, I frequented this store often for its convenience.nPurchased a ACE branded heavy duty hose less than a year ago. Having gone through cheap hoses before I decided to purchase an upgraded heavy duty version with a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Approximately 6-7 months after purchase the hose failed at the location where the rubber and metal meet. It was obviously a manufacturing defect. I brought it to the store and was told I needed a receipt for the hose. Not sure what a lifetime warranty value is on a ACE branded item if I need to produce a receipt. The young manager came forward and was smug, rolled his eyes at me and essentially had the attitude that he could care less. When asked for the owners contact information in order to describe my complaint, I was told they ran out of business cards. He refused to give me an email address or anything.nWell I will drive the extra mile or two to go to the other stores that will stand by their products.

Very helpful and friendly. Prices may be a few pennies more, but let's support our local businesses. The location is super, and they have all you need for most projects.

Great experience very knowledgeable people ended up getting a stihl ms251 wood boss from them and I am absolutely happy with the purchase.
