Thanks to its rural, out of the way location, this park offers a beautiful, quiet destination. We typically come here to sit, read, take a walk, and have lunch. In addition to the nature, however, there is significant history. The park includes the home of Albert Gallatin, who played a role in the American Revolution. You should take the tour of the house at least once--but come to the park often! There are picnic tables, charcoal grills, and restrooms--oh, and often lots of deer! Come, relax, and enjoy!

Perfect for a picnic. Rarely crowded. There’s hiking trails if you’re so inclined. Plus it’s a great historical site.
