The good news: pretty fabulous views from the common area on the third floor. Place is clean. Beds are comfy.nnNow the challenges: biggest one is not enough air conditioning on the third floor which is the common space. When the sun is shining only the most heat resistant would be able to stand the place. Entire unit is a very sparsely furnished With minimal lighting including only ceiling lights in the bedrooms some of which don’t work. Poorly equipped kitchen. Also owner sprung a substantial charge on us the day prior to arrival saying it is a Hawaiian occupancy tax. Have stayed in dozens of Airbnb’s and this never happened though there are surely occupancy taxes in other states. In addition Staying in two other Hawaiian Airbnb‘s and this did not happen. Apparently it was in the small print that I did not read.
