We had a great experience with Oceanfront Realty and our stay in Kauai! We booked through AirBnB, and throughout the entire process Oceanfront was very responsive and great at communicating around the new requirements for COVID-19/Hawaii regulations. The AirBnB was as promised - clean, well stocked, beautiful views - and we had no problems accessing the space. We’ll definitely use them again!

We were delighted with our stay. The view from our condo showed a spectacular ocean view. The space and amenities were perfect for 4 of us. Amenities included beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear. The grounds were lovely to walk around and location gave us quick access to many hiking trails that we planned to explore. After long days, we were pleased to be able to go to the pool area and enjoy the hot tub. We would return to this location.

I rented a place from this company and it was a disaster. Highly recommend you stay clear of Oceanfront Realty.

We've stayed with Oceanfront Realty 4 times now, and each time has been a mostly positive experience. Communication with Oceanfront during booking and pre-arrival is good, they typically answer questions promptly.nnAll the units we've stayed in have been cleaned and relatively well maintained - remember these are rentals, and not everyone is as respectful to other's property. Typically units are well stocked with kitchen cookware, some beach gear and enough soap, toilet paper, etc to last a week. It does vary from unit to unit, so check with Oceanfront prior to arrival.nnThere has been a couple issues during a couple of our stays: unit wear and tear; broken towel bars, torn screens, etc. Once pest control arrived to our unit unannounced to spray for bugs. Because we have small children we weren't pleased. We spoke with Oceanfront who then contacted the pest control guy, and we were assured that only a few areas were sprayed and it was not harmful to us - we went to the beach while they sprayed. Overall nothing so major as to impact our vacation.nnA word of advice to future customers: the older the unit, the more issues you *may* experience. Look for something new or renovated. We recently stayed at Plantation 222, which was new, and it was pristine!
