Erie is genuinely lucky to have an art museum of this size and quality. I've gone here several times for lectures, exhibits, etc, and it's always been pretty rad. I like the fact that they are pretty willing to showcase all different kinds of art. A lot of museums tend to pull back from folk/found/weird art, but EAM embraces it. Last time I went, everything was hung salon style and it was a treat to meander through and take in the sights.
A great local art museum. Recommend stopping in and seeing the exhibits. Totally worth your time.
Great little museum...only downfall is the size and amount of exhibits. Still well worth a visit! Roman was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about exhibits. Well organized different halls changing every 6 months or so.
Astonishing place. So many great artworks. Fiancé loved it.
It was a nice diverse collection that took about an hour to see.
