Beautiful museum with many great works of art. There are many different exhibits here to keep you and particularly the kids interested. The building and the grounds are also very beautiful. There is an are upstairs where kids can make there own works of art also. The cafe has some decent choices for a quick bite, but I would suggest packing a picnic lunch to eat on the grounds are there are many nice spots to do so.

Philadelphia has a gem of a museum. From Monet to Picasso to Bellini to Frederic, there is something for everyone to see. The current selection of Asian art is astounding, specifically the Indian exhibits. The armor rooms were interesting since I hadn’t seen such a large collection before. I appreciated how spread out the art was so there was room to appreciate it before moving on to the next exhibit. We spent about 3-4 hours there and saw most of the exhibits. You could definitely spend more time if you were to read all the exhibits or want to study them more.

Regrettably, I am obligated to update this review and drop it from a five star to three star rating. The reason is not because of the art collection, which remains excellent. The reason for this is the poor treatment that I received from employees, who appear to have received little training and or have a hostile attitude toward museum guests.nnOn my last two visits, I was reprimanded for using a camera. This despite the fact that there is no rule against using a camera inside the facility. Not a professional camera, I’m talking about my camera phone. The first time was when I was in the lobby, I took some photos but I was told that I’m not allowed to take photos unless I buy a ticket. It’s like, come on now, I was getting around to buying a ticket, was that really necessary?nnThe second time, I was walking through the museum and using a 6 inch handle attached to my cell phone, to provide an easy grip. It is not itself a stick, it’s not a stick of any kind, just a 6 inch handle. Anyhow, some head of security dude came up to me and told me that so few sticks were not allowed in the museum. No issue with me continuing to use the phone, but also no acknowledgment that it was not a selfie stick.nnWhen I take this in the context of the recent scandals involving management, I suppose I’m not surprised that guests are not treated as customers, but rather as inconvenient interlopers that you can push around. I’m not disobeying any posted rules, but still staff thought it necessary to get in my face.nnGet your act together and get your 5 stars back. I'm rooting for you.

A wonderful place for hangout with family and friends. We were amazed to get a full, wide view of Philadelphia Downtown. It was just beautiful. And if you want to feel like Rocky Balboa.... This is the place where the iconic scene with Sylvester Stallone was shot.
