Ab fab... absolutely fabulous! Not my first visit, I've give for over 40 years. The Ancient Near East stuff is as good as any in the world... British Museum, Baghdad itself! Also Egyptian, Chinese, wonderful Native American stuff (broadly defined, to include all of Mexico/Central America.) For this kind of museum, Penn's is as good as it gets. Always a pleasure.
Great museum! Many unexpected items to see. One of the best collections I've seen of ancient Roman, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern artifacts. The safety precautions taken made our trip more comfortable.
Truly worth a visit. Much larger of a space and extensive of a collection than I initially expected. Had a wonderful time, and going on a weekday meant we had the entire museum to ourselves. Parking garage is pricey compared to the surrounding area. You can easily park at one of the lots a block away and spend a fraction.
I went here for my birthday and had an awesome time with my family. It was very interesting and informative. We really enjoyed all the exhibits especially the Egyptian and Native American exhibits. I would definitely visit again!
Penn Museum was a great experience. It had a lot of the art work that I really liked. Gift shop was great aa well, got some educational puzzles for my nieces & nephews. Enjoyed my visit to the gallery. Keep doing a good job for people to enjoy!
