Lykens Valley Childrens Museum is a great little spot for kids. Admission is $5/per person, age 2 & under are free. We used On-street parking.nnThey have been posting their hours on facebook since Dauphin County moved to the Green Zone. all stations are sanitized daily.nnSome of the kids displays / activities are as follows: train display, insect inspection station, a 'farm', bikes, toys, etc.nnSTEM activities: stop motion film building, art station bubble wrap, geostix challenge, engineering design, gears, pebble challenge, etc.nnThe museum is available for field trips, birthday parties, etc. The museum is powered 100% by volunteers. Our kids had a blast!
We got a pass from the library's summer reading program. My 3 year old had a wonderful time playing here. We will definitely keep this museum in mind for when we need an activity outside of the house.
Wonderful place for a fun afternoon with your kids. We will for sure go back! My kids loved the STEM tables...
