If you love Pennsylvania flyfishing and history then this is a must see, I spent four and a half hours reading the material of all the legends fathers of flyfishing in Pennsylvania some who are still around and some who are no longer and the legacy lives on.
Pennsylvania fly fishing history was news to me, so much of the sport, techniques, tied flies & and the science of it developed here in Pennsylvania with Penn State University. I wish they had a docent or knew when a class was taught.
Very cool!! I've been tying flies for 20 years and it was neat to see all the displays of the guys and gals I read about. Very nice place!
It's a chill little museum with hours and doors that lock automatically at 5, which amuses me.
I like fly fishing so I found this museum's exhibits interesting. It is a quiet self guided tour kind of place. Not many visitors when I visited. The building sits near the Letort creek.
