The Cheesecake Factory

The Cheesecake factory was one of my favorite restaurants to go to. So it was to my surprise when I choose this restaurant for my birthday dinner that we were treated so badly. Not only did we wait two hours to get seated when they told us our table will be ready in one hour and 20 minutes, we are seated at a table that was not cleaned, they were not following the CDC guidelines.nWhen our waiter finally greeted us, we gave him our drink orders. He came back with our water but told us the drinks at the bar will take sometime, at that point I told him to cancel my drink order and just bring my husbands beer. He said let me go back and do that. He proceeded to come back with our drinks and said that he couldn't cancel my order that I would have to not only drink it but pay for it as well. Then left and never came back letting us sit there for 20 mins while he deliberately ignored us. We finally got up and went to find the manager while our waiter saw us and said “ good bye” in a very Condescending way then told us it was a waste of time complaining about him that it wouldn’t do any good. We explained to the manager what happened, he didn’t seem to care as well so we left and went over to the Yard House restaurant where they took us right away and we were treated with respect. They also followed every CDC guideline as well. We felt very safe and our waiter was fabulous and the food was amazing and fresh. Little did that snarky waiter at the Cheesecake Factory know that I give a 25 to 30% tip, he would’ve made $20-$25 in the tip that night but instead I gave it to the waiter at the “Yard house restaurant”. He deserved it more than the other waiter anyways!!

Nothing like celebrating covid style birthday.

Overall, we had a good time celebrating my daughter's birthday and the food was good. They should have had more staff on the floor because our waiter was stretched thin. It took a long time for us to get our food, but the food was delicious. My only complaint is that the food needs to be seasoned a little more. (I forgot to take a pic of my salmon, mashed, & spinach). Other than that we enjoyed our meal.

Decent service. Code at the front for the menu and there is not even working internet. What is the point? Asked for menus and was given 1. I just let it go. Generous portions, but the price for a soda and even more so for a bitter, barely drinkable hot chocolate is too much

Ordered a steak meal medium rare, it came out well done and dry. Told waiter about the problem and was taken care of without hesitation.
