We dined here many times in the past and returned last night, the first time since the Covid shut downs. We were thrilled that the consistency has not changed at all. Everything was excellent! We had a delicious eggplant app that was like nothing I've ever had, think crispy eggplant nachos. Our main courses were fantastic. Everything is always fresh and the sauces are superb. The staff and service are impeccable. Highly recommend!

This is my first review because this place is just that awesome! From the time I walked in I felt welcome. The owners took care of us and made it such an enjoyable experience. The food was high quality and the best Indian food I’ve had in awhile. It was an hour long drive but well worth it!! I will definitely be returning!

Wow! First time there and will definitely not be our last! Lucky for us our regular Indian Restaurant has not been doing dine in service, and House of India was open and ready to make customers happy! Oh boy, did they... first with being very welcoming, very clean, and super helpful With suggestions and descriptions!! The food is super flavorful! Tender and cooked perfectly, we took our lovely host’s suggestions on the Mixed Tandori Sizzler platter and we were not disappointed! We started with their amazing Chili Prawn for appetizer, we tried mild as we weren’t sure of their levels, just wow! Flavor for days, perfect spices made to your spice abilities. Well exceeded our expectations and our 35 minute drive, already planning on who we can bring back with us!nLove the place, love the owners, very personable, friendly and made us feel at home! Go eat here! Enjoy good food and good customer service!

This restaurant is an amazing pick. With wonderful staff and even better food, it is a no brainer pick for delicious food. I am rarely surprised at the quality of restaurants’ food, but the food at House of India surprised me. We had ordered out before and it was delicious, but eating in is a whole different experience. The Tangy Eggplant dish was the best prepared eggplant I have ever had. The tangy sauce mixed with their cilantro and tomato was a perfect appetizer. The chicken samosas were tasty and light with their sauces. We ordered the Green and Volcano Naan as well. These Naan dishes paired very well with the rice. The volcano naan was as spicy as we wanted, but not overpoweringly so. The Tandoori Sizzler Platter has tender meat and delicious sauces. The fish and shrimp were perfectly seasoned, and the vegetables were caramelized nicely. Before the food came out you could smell the scents wafting from the kitchen, and despite the generous portion sizes, there were few leftovers.nPaired with the kind and helpful staff, who assisted us in choosing delicious dishes, the whole experience at House of India was wonderful.nI would recommend House of India to anyone looking to spice up their dinner choices, and to anyone looking for delicious Indian dishes.nnPictured below are the Chicken Samosas and Tangy Eggplant appetizers.

I have eaten here many times but only for takeout until tonight. I’m so glad that me and my girlfriend went, we brought a bottle of wine and had an appetizer and some really good entrées. The wait staff and owner made sure that we were very satisfied before we even left. You can’t ask for more than that I will definitely be going back
